Aims of this site

The purpose of this site is to provide information for anyone wishing to start up their own business - whether this is a part-time home business or a major investment in a franchise.

My name is Simon; I started this site after I took voluntary redundancy from my former employer BT and wanted to start my own business. Like you I was overwhelmed by the massive number of business opportunities and struggled to find an independent objective review of the options available to assess which were any good and which were just scams. 
 

The reason for starting this site were twofold:

• To provide a regularly updated comprehensive library of business opportunities in the UK.
• More importantly, to provide a forum space where people who had tried some of these opportunties could leave their feedback to help others make the important decision on where to invest whatever money they had in a startup business.

In addition I have gathered together various other useful information for business starters by way of special reports, useful tools and utilities. These are available on the site to download by members.
